About this tool
The archive is read and decompressed in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Encrypted (password-protected) ZIPs and RAR/7z archives are not supported. Images and text files can be previewed by clicking their names.

Can I open RAR or 7z files?
Not yet. Only ZIP archives are supported.
Can I unzip on iPhone or Android?
Yes, this tool works in mobile browsers. Downloaded files go to your Downloads folder.
Does it support password-protected ZIPs?
No, encrypted ZIPs are not supported.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertBrightly processes files with JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing is sent over the network, and the files disappear when you close the tab. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
